Morris Classic / Deluxe

Recommended for age 8 up. 2 players

Kids or adult will enjoy this challenging, popular, traditional strategy game from Egypt. Expect lots of strategic moves from each other.

Your objective is to try to form a line with 3 seeds. Whenever that is achieved, you may remove 1 of your opponent seed from the board (except those that form a line in 3's). Whichever player left with 2 seeds will loose the game.

First stage - The Placing Stage
Take turn to place 1 seed at a time onto the circles on the game board until all the seeds are placed onto the board. Remove your opponent seed if you are able to form 3 seeds in a line.

Second stage - The Moving Stage
Each player take turn to move the seeds on the game board until your opponent left with 3 seeds. You can only move to the adjacent empty circle, no jumping or skipping of seeds allowed.

Third stage - From 3 to 2
When either player is left with 3 seeds, you have to watch out. That player is able to move the seeds not only adjacent but onto any empty circles he want as long as he is able to continue playing with the game. However game will be over if you are left with only 2 seeds.

Choose from Morris Classic (9 seeds for each player) or Morris Deluxe (12 seeds for each player).
